What it is
Caso Vorcaro is an independent news archive about the Banco Master case in Brazil. We bring together in one place, with sources, what has been published by the press and in public documents: the timeline, the status of the plea deal, the developments at the Supreme Court and the FGC deposit guarantee rules for investors.
This English edition is a translation of our Portuguese site, danielvorcaro.com.br. Most of the sources we cite are Brazilian outlets and documents in Portuguese.
We are not affiliated with Daniel Vorcaro, his lawyers, Banco Master, the FGC, any political party or anyone named here. The site's address uses the name people search for, and does not imply any connection to him.
Editorial policy
- We only publish what has a public source, with a link to the original: news reports, court decisions and official documents.
- We attribute every piece of information to whoever published it (“according to Poder360”, “according to the Federal Police”) and do not present suspicions as proven facts.
- We include the other side. When the people named respond publicly, we include what they said.
- Presumption of innocence. Being named, investigated or targeted by a police operation does not mean being guilty. Under Brazil's Constitution (Article 5, LVII), no one is considered guilty until a criminal conviction is final.
- No partisan side. We report facts involving people from different parties and institutions using the same standard.
Corrections and right of reply
